Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the LitUp app and website (litup.biz) operated by LitUp ("LitUp", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use LitUp.

Who can use LitUp

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding agreement. Merchants must be authorised to act for the business they register and provide accurate trade-license information where requested.

Your account

You are responsible for the information you provide and for activity under your account. Keep your sign-in method secure. We verify sign-in using one-time codes sent to your email or phone.

How LitUp works

• Merchants publish offers describing the perks, time slots and content expectations for a collaboration.
• Influencers request slots; merchants review and accept them, which issues a unique redemption code.
• At the venue, the merchant records the visit by scanning or entering the code.
• Payouts and fees are calculated from the terms of each offer and the visits recorded.

LitUp provides the platform that connects merchants and influencers. The collaboration itself — the visit, the content produced, and its quality — is between the merchant and the influencer. We are not a party to that arrangement and do not guarantee any particular outcome.

Your responsibilities

• Provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
• Honour the offers you publish or the requests you accept.
• Produce and post content as agreed in an offer, where you are an influencer.
• Do not misuse the service, attempt to circumvent it, submit false redemptions, or infringe others' rights.

Content

You retain rights to content you create. You are responsible for ensuring your content and conduct comply with applicable laws and platform rules (including those of any social network you post to). You grant LitUp permission to display the profile and offer information you provide as needed to operate the service.

Fees and payouts

Fees payable by merchants and payouts to influencers are based on the terms shown in each offer and the visits recorded through LitUp. We may change plans and pricing prospectively; changes will be shown in the app.

Suspension and termination

You may stop using LitUp and delete your account at any time from within the app. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or misuse the service.

Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, LitUp is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for disputes arising between merchants and influencers.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates.

Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
